THE FOUNDER

A Legacy Rooted in Grace

Rev. Fr. Daniel Msugh Agber is a Catholic priest, author, mentor, and humanitarian whose life and ministry have been shaped by faith, gratitude, compassion, and a deep respect for the dignity of every human person. Through his pastoral ministry, he has encountered children, young people, families, and communities whose hopes were threatened by poverty, illness, limited educational opportunities, and difficult social circumstances. These experiences strengthened his conviction that compassion must move beyond good intentions and become practical, responsible, and lasting service.

Rev. Fr. Daniel Msugh Agber
Founder and Vision Bearer
Torjir-Agber Foundation (TAF).

“My life has been a journey of grace. I have been helped, encouraged, and carried by God through the goodness of many people. The TAF Legacy is my humble effort to ensure that the grace I have received does not end with me, but continues through every child educated, every family supported, every community strengthened, and every life restored to hope.”

A LIFE OF FAITH, GRATITUDE & SERVICE

Priestly & Pastoral Ministry

Fr. Daniel’s priesthood has been marked by spiritual leadership, pastoral care, mentoring, education, and concern for vulnerable people. Over the years, he has encouraged young people, supported disadvantaged students, accompanied individuals through difficult moments, and helped families in need. For him, priestly ministry and humanitarian service flow from the same calling: to recognise the dignity of every person and respond with compassion, hope, and practical love.

THE FOUNDER'S BOOK

From Personal Grace to Shared Legacy

Fr. Daniel’s book, Legacy of Grace: A 60-Year Journey of Faith, Resilience & Hope, reflects the spiritual and personal foundations of the Foundation. It tells a story of gratitude for God’s providence, for the people whose kindness shaped his journey, and for the opportunities and sacrifices that contributed to his life and ministry. The book’s central message is also central to the mission of TAF: grace should not end with the person who receives it. It should become service, generosity, encouragement, and opportunity for others.

THE INSPIRATION BEHIND THE FOUNDATION

From Personal Grace to Shared Legacy

Torjir-Agber Foundation (TAF) grew from Fr. Daniel’s desire to transform personal gratitude into an enduring mission of service. Long before the Foundation received a formal identity, its spirit was already expressed through educational assistance, mentoring, pastoral support, and quiet acts of kindness. The Foundation was established to ensure that these efforts could become more organized, sustainable, accountable, and capable of continuing beyond one individual. Its public-facing identity, The TAF Legacy, expresses this deeper purpose: to build a legacy measured not simply by material possessions, but by lives strengthened, dignity restored, opportunities created, and hope passed from one generation to another.

A Vision for Future Generations

Fr. Daniel envisions a Foundation that will outlive its Founder and continue to serve with integrity, compassion, and institutional credibility. His hope is that TORJIR-AGBER FOUNDATION will become a trusted platform for:

01. Expanding educational opportunities
02. Supporting vulnerable individuals and families
03. Promoting mentoring and character formation
04. Strengthening underserved communities
05. Building sustainable partnerships
06. Inspiring beneficiaries to become sources of hope to others.

Beginning in Nigeria, the Foundation aspires to grow responsibly and develop partnerships capable of extending its impact nationally and internationally.

“A true legacy is not what we preserve for ourselves, but the hope, dignity, and opportunity we leave in the lives of others.”

A Message from the Founder

Welcome to The TAF Legacy, the public-facing identity of TORJIR-AGBER FOUNDATION. This vision was born from gratitude. Throughout my life and priestly ministry, I have experienced the goodness of God through people who encouraged me, believed in me, and supported me at important moments. I have also met many gifted people whose dreams were endangered by poverty, illness, or limited opportunity. TORJIR-AGBER FOUNDATION is my humble response to that reality. We may not be able to solve every problem, but we believe that every sincere act of kindness can restore hope and change a life.I invite you to share in this vision, support our programmes, and help us build a legacy that will continue through transformed lives for generations to come.
